- In June 2003, the average price of goods and services consumed by households in rural areas decreased by 1.73 per cent, while the food crops farmers sold their production only at the 3.63 per cent lower price, compared to the price in May 2003. As the results, the national value of Farmer Term of Trade (FTT) in June 2003 experienced a decrease of 1.54 per cent, from 119.18 in May to 117.34 in June. This relative decrease has been happening since February 2003.
- From 17 provinces observed during June 2003, 9 provinces had FTT above 100 and 8 provinces had FTT below 100. The highest FTT was reached by Nusa Tenggara Timur (156.97), while the lowest figure was recorded by Lampung (72.66).

- In May 2003, the national value of Farmer Term of Trade (FTT) experienced an increase of 0.05 per cent over April 2003, from 119.12 in April to 119.18 in May. This relative increase was caused by the increase in Producer Price in smalholders plantaion commodities as high as 8.45 per cent. This slight increase however, had a big impact, after it constantly dropped in last two months.
- From 16 provinces observed during May 2003, 9 provinces had FTT above 100 and 7 provinces had FTT below 100. The highest FTT was reached by Nusa Tenggara Timur (159.74), while the lowest figure was recorded by Lampung (73.04).

- In March 2003, the national value of Farmer Term of Trade (FTT) experienced a decrease of 3.58 per cent over February 2003, from 123.04 in February to 118.64 in March. This decrease was caused by the decrease in Producer Price in agriculture sector as high as 1.95 per cent, combined with the increase in price of good and services consumed by farmers? household as high as 2.24 per cent. Even though price of capital goods/services in agriculture sector already dropped by 1.71 per cent, it had no significant impact in (i.e. Index of Price paid by farmers rose by 2.87 per cent).
- From 20 provinces observed during November 2002, 14 provinces had FTT above 100 and 6 provinces had FTT below 100. The highest FTT was reached by Kalimantan Timur (270.69), while the lowest figure was recorded by Sumatera Selatan (76.00).
